On the dessert island of life
We will walk together
In Sunshine and in rain
Holding hands and hearts
Until phantasy and memory
Drift off to eternity
Until the incoming tide
Sweeps away our footsteps
Just before dark
Until some one closes our eyes
For the very last time.
